Under dazzling city lights, the ASCAP Pop Music Awards honored the minds behind today’s biggest hits, proving once again that storytelling and melody are the heartbeat of pop music.

Jack Antonoff and Teddy Swims: The Night’s Crowned Titans

Few creators have shaped modern pop music like Jack Antonoff and Teddy Swims, and this year, their achievements took center stage.

Jack Antonoff, known for his emotionally rich and genre-defying style, was named ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year, thanks to his contributions to Taylor Swift’s Anti-Hero, Fortnight (featuring The Weeknd), and Karma. His ability to blend nostalgia, innovation, and heartfelt lyricism has cemented his status as one of the most sought-after collaborators in the industry.

Meanwhile, Teddy Swims took home Song of the Year for Lose Control, co-written with Joshua "Ammo" Coleman. This powerhouse track, infused with raw emotion and soul, made history by spending 58 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, a testament to its profound impact on listeners worldwide.
